Johanna Garton is the author her new book, Edge of the Map: The Mountain Life of Christine Boskoff. In writing Edge of the Map, Johanna interviewed more than 75 friends and family of Christine Boskoff, her late husband Keith Boskoff and Charlie Fowler. In a remarkable life tragically cut short, Christine Boskoff was at the top of the high-altitude world, at the time, she was the only living woman to summit six of the 8000-meter peaks, one being Mount Everest. Charismatic, principled, and humble, Boskoff was also a deeply loved role model to her climbing partners and the Sherpa community.
