The film features a firsthand look at the toll insomnia has taken on one individual. Steve Ryan is with us today whose life and career as a video producer and musician have been affected by severe insomnia. 

 

Steve’s story gives viewers a window into the real strain insomnia can have on a person's waking days.

A film documentary ‘Bowen’s Heart is about Matt and Sarah Hammitt’s son Bowen who was born with half a heart and how that journey affected them as parents and tested their faith.

Michelle Slater had a long battle with and recovery from late-stage neurological Lyme disease, which served as the genesis for her book, “Starving to Heal in Siberia”. 

Debilitated by the disease to the extent that she was no longer able to teach at her university or perform simple tasks like driving and reading, Michelle spent several years pursuing every known treatment, from aggressive allopathic methods to holistic remedies that didn’t work. 

In her new book, Starving to Heal in Siberia Dr. Slater explains her radical recovery from late-stage Lyme disease and How It Could Help Others. 

When all failed to deliver recovery, she discovered a dry fasting program and spent two months in Siberia under a doctor’s care. She recovered completely from Lyme disease, regaining her memory and returning to researching, writing, hiking, and running. Since 2017, she has not experienced a single symptom. 

Dr. Slater is a scholar of comparative literature and president of the educational non-profit Mayapple Center for the Arts and Humanities in Connecticut.

Lee Greenwood has recorded 22 studio albums, has had 7 number 1 hits and 38 singles. Just the sound of his name takes us immediately to one of the most heard, most sung songs by all of us, “God Bless the USA.” Written and recorded by Lee Greenwood, the song is become known as “America’s Second National Anthem.” 

The song was instrumental bringing America together after that fateful day on September 11th, 2001.

Growing up, Sonali was not allowed to socialize, meaning she could not have any sleepovers, she couldn't date, no prom, and no dorming in college. After graduating college, she refused to allow her parents to arrange her marriage, which is traditional in her culture.  She had her first kiss at age 26 and remains a virgin.

 

Sonali Chandra was born and raised in New Jersey to parents from India.

The Warrior In Me Suicide Prevention Program comes at an extremely critical time with suicide numbers on the rise. Suicide and mental illness do not discriminate. There are no guidelines or rules, as it impacts people of all demographics and classes.

According to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, suicide is the 12th leading cause of death in the U.S, In 2020, 46,000 Americans died by suicide, and there were an estimated 1.2 million suicide attempts per year. 

The Warrior In Me video series shares the same title as her 10-song LP, and single released on World Suicide Prevention Day in 2020, which was co-written with industry veteran, Keith Ridenour, and produced by Grammy award-winning musician Nate Cornell (For King and Country).

Janie Fricke sang backup vocals on Elvis Presley’s final album and had to record all vocals after he passed away.

Richard Sterban is the legendary bass singer of the Oak Ridge Boys and prior to joining The Oaks in 1972, Richard sang with various groups, eventually joining J.D. Sumner and the Stamps Quartet, which afforded him the opportunity of a lifetime—the chance to sing with Elvis Presley and singing with him every night on stage as well as recording with the greatest entertainer in music history.

 

It was during this time in the midst of Elvis’ heyday that Richard was offered the position as bass singer for The Oak Ridge Boys, and he had to make a major decision—remain on the big stage or chase his own dream.

 

Well, 50 years later with numerous awards and over 41 million albums sold, and being inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. I would say it was worth chasing his own dream.

Hal Lansky, the son of Lansky Bros. founder Bernard Lansky, was the delivery boy who would deliver clothing to Graceland for Elvis Presley to wear. Lansky Bros was the Clothier to the King, Elvis Presley from the 1950s to 1960s and into the 1970s. 

 

Today, along with his daughter Julie Lansky, he carries on the Lansky Bros. legacy that is still operating retails stores in the lobby of the historic Peabody Hotel in downtown Memphis. From musicians, movie stars and athletes, they shop at Lansky Bros. and you’ll never know who will be walking through their famed doors. 

 

Bernard Lansky, the founder of Lansky Bros. was given advice on his 18th birthday by his father telling him that he could conquer anything as long as he worked hard. Bernard started his business by sensing that there was a void in the Memphis market and paved the way and became a force in the fashion industry across the world.

Jerry Schilling met Elvis when he was just a boy and Elvis was a teenager. He met him on one of the last weekends before Elvis became “ELVIS”.

 

Jerry knew Elvis for twenty-three years, and in those years he grew up with him, lived with him, worked for him, learned from him, laughed with him, and shared one amazing experience after another.

 

Jerry Schilling is more than being a close friend to Elvis Presley. Jerry is a movie and television producer, a film editor, the manager of The Beach Boys and so much more. 

 

Priscilla Presley said “Jerry Schilling is authentic, honest, a purity of a man who truly loved his friend Elvis.” 

 

Lisa Marie Presley says “Jerry tells the story of her father with humility, honesty and dignity.”

Jerry Schilling’s life has spanned from the early days of Guthrie Park playing football with Elvis in North Memphis to standing in the White House with the most powerful man in the United States and I’m not talking about President Nixon, I am talking about the greatest entertainer in the world, Elvis Presley.

 

Without further a due, let’s welcome the closest and most loyal friend to Elvis, the man himself, Jerry Schilling.

Wink Martindale was a very close friend of Elvis. They met the very night Sam Phillips walked into that Memphis radio station with “That’s All Right Mama” that catapulted Elvis Presley’s stardom. Wink tells the story of that incredible night and how Memphis is the true city of rock and roll. Wink is the last survivor of the six people at the radio station that night. Wink Martindale’s fascination with radio began during childhood. Classmates may have aspired to being doctors, firemen or policemen. Wink just wanted to be a radio announcer. 

 

His former Sunday school teacher managed a 250 Watt radio station back in the day and he gave Wink his first on-air job at $25 a week.

 

His radio dream was fully realized in 1971 when he began a 12 year run as the midday personality on Gene Autry’s flagship “Station of the Stars”, KMPC. Along the way there was his teen oriented “Dance Party” from Pacific Ocean Park, a gold record, the narrative “Deck of Cards”, an appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show, and 21 game shows that Wink either hosted or produced including “Trivial Pursuit”, “Can You Top This”, “High Rollers”, “Debt”, “Gambit”, and the long-running “Tic-Tac-Dough”.
